Roger Jones always knew he wanted to live in Santa Cruz. After studying biology at the University of Santa Cruz, California he wanted to call Santa Cruz “home.” The small town coastal vibe, great surf up and down the coast, the intellectual culture he found at UCSC all resonated with him. But after searching for over a year for an affordable, modest house he realized it wasn’t going to be easy.
